Tickets and Prices

At Rakši ZOO you can choose from:

  • Rakši Small Journey (available on weekdays and weekends)
  • Rakši Big Journey (available only on weekends)
  • ZOO + Lemur Feeding (available only on weekdays)

Currently, tickets can only be purchased on-site.

Yes, both cash and bank card payments are accepted.

We do not offer special family tickets. However, holders of the Ģimenes+ Card receive a 10% discount.

Animals and Activities

You can meet:
camels, llamas, alpacas, lemurs, kangaroos, a zebra, a sloth, donkeys, goats, sheep, cows, parrots, emus, ostriches, gibbons, peacocks, guinea pigs, and rabbits.

Yes, animals may only be fed with food provided by Rakši ZOO.

Yes, some animals may be petted and touched while following staff instructions.

In rainy weather, you can stay inside the cozy “Camel cafe” or the Korean BBQ restaurant “King Julian” and enjoy a meal. During rainy weather, lemur feeding takes place inside the Lemur House. Short rain showers can also be waited out under the picnic area shelter or on the café terrace.

Food and Relaxation

Yes, the Camel Park area features “Camel cafe”, while the Lemur Park area has the Korean BBQ restaurant “King Julian”.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food.

Yes, a free picnic area is available for visitors.

Yes, Rakši ZOO also has the “Rakši” Hotel, designed in Moroccan style to match the camel park theme. Room reservations are available on www.booking.com.

Events and Services

Informational boards in Latvian and English are placed near the animal enclosures throughout Rakši ZOO, providing information about the animals. Separate guided tour services are not available.
